Oh Crap! Paul can drive....

Paul chose to take his driver's ed courses through the school, and they were very backed up with getting his drives scheduled. But, Paul finally got them done and is now a licenced driver. He is a pretty good driver, we will just have to make sure to keep a tight leash on him!

Instagram collages...

The boys are always posting about each other on Instagram, and I like to screen shot it if I catch them! The circled picture of Jackson looks a lot like Caleb, to me! It's funny because a couple of times when Jackson was little, he told me he looked most like Uncle Caleb!

Random Summer Happenings.

Alanna finally got her braces off! She was in them a little longer than originally planned due to Covid19 restrictions and not being able to see the ortho for a bit. Now she is following her brothers' footsteps and starting on accutane. Three down, one to go with braces!

Blaze and Alanna have been joining Paul in putting stickers on bags for our neighbors who sell freeze dried Skittles. They are pretty industrious and earn $100 for doing 1,000 bags!

Blaze really missed Paul while he was in Kenya!

Paul was so proud of his bargaining skills. I don't know that he really needed everything he got, but he had fun haggling prices! On his last day, a man said he'd give Paul a statue if he could have his shoes. Paul's shoes were covered in cement from the work site, but he figured if the guy wanted them so much he should give them up. Then another guy wanted Paul's socks, but he said he had to have his socks to get back on the bus!

Paul has thousands of pictures and videos because the "mom" on their trip is an Instagram influences and pro photographer. It is so fun to see how fascinated the school kids were with Paul's group. Many of them hadn't ever seen white people before, and Paul said they were rubbing his arm hair and the hair on his head, so curious about the differences they saw!

Blaze and his quorum supported their friend at his baptism! Blaze has such great leaders who are trying really hard to get these boys to be great friends, and I think it's working.

Alanna enjoyed a few days up at girl's camp and made a new friend, Maelie, last on the right!

Tibblefork!

For some reason, we thought it would be fun to go spend the day at Tibblefork! I convinced Paul to go after I invited his friend Blake, who was excited to go. So, we packed up everything in the mini van, and took off down the road when James noticed that an emergency light was on. We then had to condense some things into the Tesla. What a hassle! It was fun to watch Paul and his friends get creative and tube down this canal. Paul really wanted to jump off of this cliff, but it was a good think that James was there to tell him "NO", because the water was low and there wasn't great clearance. It ended up raining and lightening, so we had to try to get everything cleaned up and packed before it got worse. We decided to just hit the pool the next time the kids wanted to "swim"!
