My baby is growing up so fast! This was his first "friend" party, and he wanted to celebrate Ninja Turtle style. This was such a fun party to plan because TMNT's are so nostalgic for James and I, and our other kids love them too!
It doesn't take much to please my Blazer! He wore this shirt for days and days after his party...in between washings of course.
Jackson, Paul, and Alanna were a huge help in doing all of the crafty work for the games. James cut out and decorated "sewer covers" for our musical sewer cover games. He also used a projector to make this TMT head (I still don't know which is which) for pin the pizza in the mouth.
The kids decorated a Frisbee to look like a pizza, and then we had to fly it through the air trying to get it to land in one of the pizza boxes. We also handed out some little flying disk doo-dad that the kids were landing in the boxes too.
Apparently, my nephew Max loves James. They were buddies throughout the party, and on their way home, Max told Luke "I love Uncle James!"
We bowled over the green slime
Braxton's face pretty much sums up the reaction the kids had to the green slime...GROSS!
Time for pizza, cupcakes, grapes, carrots, and TMT juice!
All Blaze wanted for his birthday was "Rock em Sock em Robots". Oscar (Cassie) made his dream come true. We had the Johnson's over later that night, and they were making tournament brackets to see who was the ultimate fighter!
Blaze's other favorite gift was the Ninja Turtle costume that Uncle Caleb and Cache gave him. We loved having Caleb there to liven things up!
Someone though it would be fun to start throwing the green play dough at Caleb. He ended up on the ground after being tackled by all of these 5 year olds!
Blaze has such great friends and cousins! We missed a couple of our good friends, but we still had a totally tubular time celebrating Blaze!
