Labor Day "Camping"

We had another "camp out" in the Perkins backyard for Labor Day. I actually slept on a couch inside and stayed warm and cozy! Look at this precious little Rose at 4 months old!

I think dad is officially K.C.'s best friend!

Perfect Summer Day...

We went to the Lindon Pool with the Saunders and Lombardi Families, then to Day Break for an event where the kids floated luminaries and we watched fireworks! I loved being HOT all day and being able to see an awesome fireworks show! That's what summer is about!

1st Days of School...

The kids all started school on different days, but here they are! Blaze is 3rd grade!

We toured Caleb's work at Diesel Brothers!

We picked out Diesel shirts for everyone and when I went to pay for them, Caleb rang them up for free for us! Sweet! We all love our shirts!

Jackson 10th grade at a brand new high school!

I made this "Survivor" cookie for him to come home to after his first day of high school!

Day Break Lake..

One Sunday I got everyone loaded up in the car to go to Day Break, where in the past the kids have enjoyed walking and playing at the park there. They all got out of the car, including James, and decided that they did not want to walk. So they sat at the same spot at the lake while I did the loop on my own! When I got back the kids all wanted me to video their tumbling tricks, which is always entertaining, because Alanna is the only one who can pull them off!

Aquarium...

While James, Jackson, and Paul were at scout camp in Bear lake, I took Blaze and Alanna to the Sandy Aquarium. We hadn't been since Blaze was in preschool and wanted to spend the entire time playing on the plastic killer whales! He was way into the real animals this time!

We finally went to try Bahama Buck's shave ice, which I've been told is just like Hawaiian Shave ice. WRONG! This stuff was disgusting...like we couldn't even finish it! Severely disappointing experience!

Bode and Presley...

Bode and Presley stayed with us for a couple of days and we had fun at the park, making playdough, reading lots of stories, and making cookies!

Rose's Baby Blessing...

Look at this beauty!! I was so lucky to get a picture with her on her special day! She is just a bundle of joy...very calm and smiley, and much doted on by her three big brothers! We are all in love! Of course, Bode is a handsome little dude too!
