Guitar Recital and Pinocchio play...

Jackson and Paul did an excellent job at their recital this year. Jackson played 'I'm Bleeding Out', by Imagine Dragons. Paul played 

Melinda's younger kids were in a Pinocchio play that we went to see in American Fork. It was cool because our kids haven't even seen the movie of Pinocchio, they've just read a book that we have. So now they are more cultured!

Pinocchio Children's Play...

Sam and Melinda's two youngest, Eden and Tucker, participated in a production of Pinocchio, and it was so fun to see all of the costumes and hear the singing! It's fun to finally live close enough to get to know each other's families better...more than through Christmas cards!

Easter 2019...

Celebrating Easter with my favorite carrot cake, egg dying, and a glow in the dark egg hunt. The weather was awful, so we had to do the egg hunt indoors which isn't as fun, but I'm glad we still got to do it!

New Art Work...

I love the feelings I have when looking at this picture! To me, it's a reminder that even though we are surrounded by so much evil in this world, we have guardian angels all around us! I believe that the guardian angels are our loved ones from the other side. I feel Paul near me often, and I can imagine Heavenly Father assigning him to minister to our family and protect us. I bought this and hung it right outside my bedroom hallway so we can all see it throughout the day as a reminder that our Father in Heaven is always taking care of us! 

Butterfly Atrium at Thanksgiving Point...

During our Spring Break, I tried to take the kids to do fun outings everyday. We went to Airbourn, swimming, played with cousins, made marshmallow eggs, etc. 

This atrium wasn't as impressive as the one we visited in Vallejo, CA, a few years ago, but I really enjoyed the warm tropical environment which was a change from the snow!

For some reason Blaze was terrified that a butterfly would land on him, and he was begging me to take him out of the atrium! He was lucky, none of them landed on him!

Where's Waldo...

Blaze drew this, and I love it so much! He is obsessed with Where's Waldo books, which are pages of detailed scenes of the fair, or slopes, etc. You have to find Waldo in his signature striped beanie on every page, and it's very difficult! I often get up in morning to find Blaze sitting on a heating vent and intensely studying a Where's Waldo book!

Max's Hogwart's Birthday Party...

Peter got to play a shopkeeper at Olivander's to pass out fitting wands to all of the guests! Luke made the wands himself out of tree branches covered in hot glue and paint...very authentic looking!
