We invested in some snow hiking gear and loved our first experience, along with the Swains! Kazie and I got some trail running shoes that we love, and along with the micro spikes we felt like we could do anything without slipping! Hiking on the soft snow was so much better on our joints than the rock and hard packed dirt in the summer time. The trail was relatively crowded, but it was fun to see all of the different activities people were engaging in. We saw snow borders, downhill skis, xc skis, sleds, etc. The guys had fun jumping in snow drifts that went up to their chest, and Kazie and I had fun laughing at them trying to pull themselves out of that mess! We hope to do several more snow hikes this year because it's so beautiful, and a great workout! I actually got hot enough to peel down to my t-shirt!
This was randomly stuck in here! We went to a neighborhood Christmas Party hosted by the Green's that was really fun. We met at Tepanyaki steakhouse for dinner, and then we went back to the Green's house to socialize!
Cute Blaze and Lyla delivering Christmas treats for Kazie!
Justin took this gorgeous picture on the Red Pine hike!
