St. George with the Perx!

We all rented a big house together in St. George for a few days to hang out! It was really great to have Alex and Andrew there since vaccines are out now!

We did a few hikes to see lava tubes and caves, and it was HOT! Swimming in the pool and playing video games were the fav activities on this trip!

As part of Presley's birthday celebration, we went to a really cool obstacle course park that had timers so you could keep track of your times. My boys beat me at sprinting! When did they grow up! It was by fractions of a second, but still, I was shocked!

Paul's 15th birthday!

Pauly Pooper is 15 and got his permit as close to his birthday as he could manage! He really is a hard worker and a go getter when he has his mind set on something! Our neighbors, the Clarke's, employ Paul to help with their freeze dried candy business. He puts labels on the candy bags and has been making as much as $400/week this summer! He's done a good job saving, and spending his money on Amazon! At least he is getting a taste of how it feels to have extra money and not have to be so tight with it! Our family just wouldn't be the same without him! Who would have thought that our little temper tantrum throwing difficult toddler would grow up so quickly?? This lucky guy got to celebrate with family while we were in St. George with Raspberry chocolate truffle cupcakes!

Hike to Stewart Falls...

Andrew and Kenna were in town staying at the cabin, so we had a little Willi get together. The kids did an awesome job hiking to Stewart Falls, and then we had dinner together and played at the cabin. 

 

Blaze's school " hike" !

This kid! I could eat him up! He had a school field trip "hiking" on some paved paths to learn about Indian ruins that he was so excited about. I love that he is so easy going about wearing his hat and sunscreen, especially since it makes him extra cute!

 

Flowers for Kazie...

Kazie's grandma, who pretty much raised her and has been an amazing example to her, passed away this week. She was on hospice, and it was a drawn out process of gradual decline, so Kazie got to spend a lot of time with her grandparents caring for them and letting them know how much she loves and appreciates them. I thought it would be a great idea to plant her boxes for her since she had been so busy. Our generous TRX group donated $300 for plants! I found a picture design online and went to the nursery to have an expert help pic out flowers that would do well here. Kazie loves them and said she feels the love every time she pulls up to her house and sees them. It will be so fun to watch them grow over the summer!!

 

Becky's grad party...

Becky graduated with her Master's in School Psychology, so we had to celebrate with a special cake! I always tease Becky about how much she LOVES cats, and we have inside jokes about cats and ice cream from our pole dancing lesson. I ordered the cat topper cats from Amazon, and they were hilarious!! I added a grad hat to one, and a diploma to one as well. One cat was pole dancing which Becky took off the cake before showing it to her kids so she wouldn't have to do any explaining! Her girls loved the cat toppers, but Becky said she kept a few to put on her desk before turning them over!
