Last summer when we had friends over to watch Cobra Kai (Lane's favorite new show), Lane announced that he needed to go wash his hands because he had been cleaning out Charlotte's underwear in the toilet! Bare hands in the poopy toilet! This was after he offered us all candy from his bag of Swedish Fish that he'd been eating! We were all appalled, and couldn't let it go! So for his birthday he got poop cupcakes with a pair of long armed plastic gloves. Do you think he will use them???

Escape Room Date...

These are some of the most strong, fun, amazing, loving women I know! We call each other our TRX family, and we love to be tortured by Heidi's workouts! We went out to dinner and to an escape room to get to know everyone's other half! it was so much fun! But, this picture they took of us turned out a little creepy...Becky looks like she's got her arm around me, Justin looks like his hand is around the other Becky, and of course, James just always has to make a weird face!

Mother's Day 2019...

How many pictures does James need to take of this group to get a good one? Several! Too many!

This cake!! I found this recipe for Lavender Blackberry Cake on one of my favorite blogs, and I though it would be perfect for Mother's Day! I was out to lunch with Cassie earlier in the week, and she asked if I had seen the recipe, and I told her I was making it this weekend. She said "Me too! Isn't it perfect for Mother's day!" I love it! I was impressed that my family loved it too since lavender isn't a flavor they're used to. This cake is just divine, and beautiful!

Alanna gave me this very cute bracelet that she picked out by herself and said "this will bind us together in love, even when we are apart". Wow! Melts my heart!

Typical of Paul...he probably won't ever outgrow the potty humor. It did make me laugh though!

And I could just eat Blaze! I can't get enough squeezes out of him! Jackson made me some homemade bath bombs, which was very thoughtful since I've finally started using our jetted tub! James gave me a gift certificate for a massage and sauna treatments...so perfect for a reptile like myself!

And I got my wish to take a family walk and stop up at the reservoir to enjoy a gorgeous sunset! I'm a very lucky girl!

Meeting Rose and playing with cousins...

Sweet Bode is about 7 months here, and much tinier than his siblings were at his age!

We finally have another Perkins girl! Baby Rose's arrival has been highly anticipated by us all! She is beautiful and maybe resembles Max as a baby! We were thankful that her birth was completely normal and that Andrea is doing well! The boys absolutely love her, and Max is particularly enthralled with his baby sister!

We also had a good time playing at the park with Cache, Presley, and Bode on this warm spring evening!

Boys!

I got out of my class at the gym on a Friday morning to find a thread of texts about how the boys were late coming out for carpool and Jackson broke glass all over the house, according to Paul. I was dreading coming home to survey the damage, but I was impressed to see this note where Jackson was taking responsibility! It was weird because I found a little glass on the ground, but I searched high and low and couldn't find the source. Later on in the day when the light was hitting the walls differently, I saw that one of the pictures was cracked and missing glass in a top corner. The boys had been throwing an empty container of protein powder and hit the frame. Ugh! I'm constantly asking them to not throw things in the house. Do you think they have learned a lesson?!
