Becky B.'s Creepy Birthday...

I love my workout friends! We motivate each other everyday and have so much fun together! These ladies are so strong physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually! They are also fun to tease! We each have a phobia, and Becky B.'s grasshoppers! She grew up next to a field that had tons of them, and she would run them over on her bike and hear them make a crunching sound and is now traumatized. So for her birthday, I made her a carrot cake, her favorite, but I couldn't resist decorating it with a grasshopper! It was so funny because when she first saw if from afar she said "oh Sarah, that is so nice of you! That cake looks so good!" and i said " Oh, you haven't really seen it!" Then she got a better look and we were all laughing so hard! She took the leftovers home and sent me pictures of where he kids continued to hide the cricket to scare her all day long! I loved it!

Blaze's 9th Birthday!

I can't say that I was excited that my baby turned 9, but he sure was excited for his birthday! Grandma Ce Ce and Poppy came over the day before to take him to lunch at Mod Pizza, and then birthday shopping. I have to mention that the night before he ran home and asked if he could go hot tubing with Charlotte, the cute blond who lives behind us! He got Bey Blades, which is pretty funny since that's what Paul and Jackson were into around that age. I guess they're back!

Blaze wanted German Pancakes for breakfast

For dinner, we invited over the Williamson extended family and had Blaze's choice of Alfredo, Pizza rolls, salad, and watermelon. Of course, once again, he wanted a peppermint cheesecake. I also make a chocolate mousse cake for the non cheesecake lovers!

Andrew and Kenna gave him silly string in his birthday bag, and he sneakily took it out and stashed it under his chair until the cake was out of the way. Then he took it out and sprayed the whole room with the silly string... little stinker!

I love that Blaze will still cuddle with me during movies, when he gets home from school, or anytime I want him to! James says he's manipulating me, but so what! He's a smart boy either way!

Later that night, Alanna had us in stitches when she put on James' clothes and sunglasses and was acting like her dad!

Gran's birthday Celebration...

Gran turned the big 9-2 this year!! Mom and dad were in Florida, but we all went over to celebrate with Gran and tried to make it a special day. Luke and Andrea had a game where they asked Gran about different questions in her life (ie, how she met papa, what she liked to do when she was growing up). Gran seemed to love reminising, and she could remember the answers to most of the questions. We had a chocolate mousse cake with almond roca bars on top!

I wish Paul and Andrew could be in this picture to balance us out, Caleb! Haha! Caleb was complaining that he looks out of place since he's got the bigger boned genes out of Luke and I. Seriously though, I really wish that Andrew lived close still, and I bet Paul was there in spirit!

TRX Family Moab Weekend!

I was so looking forward to taking this girl's trip to Moab with my "TRX Family" as we call ourselves. We were already great friends, but we really bonded on this trip and had what we call the best Relief Society meeting ever! We shared struggles and challenges and how we were trying to get through them. Testimonies were born and love was shared! I am so lucky to associate with these women on an almost daily basis! That's our boss, Heidi, doing a handstand in the slot canyon we hiked!

We went on a 9 mile hide through water and rocks which was perfect since it was like 90 degrees outside!

The next day, we had quite an adventure getting lost trying to find this waterfall. Heidi saw a King Cobra and almost gave us a heart attack. Becky C. and I forged the way afterward and only saw a skinny little garter snake. Heidi also saw a T-Rex that stopped her dead in her tracks. The rest of us only saw a burned log. Oh, so many fun memories! Our husbands all made comments about us having pillow fights in our underwear. All of them! They wish, I guess?
